

Xavi has returned to the club he spent 17 years at as a player and became one of the clubs greatest.

Xavi will bring with him his brother Oscar, Sergio Alegre and Ivan Torres as his backroom staff who were with him at Al Sadd.
As a manager Xavi has spent the last couple of years at Al Sadd, picking up three domestic trophies in his time, including a league title, and 2 Qatar cups.
Xavi is the first Barcelona manager to be presented on the pitch in front of fans at the Camp Nou, with presentations usually reserved for the club’s biggest signings.
Xavi is said to be planning a complete revolution behind the scenes at Barcelona and is unhappy with the lack of professionalism at the club currently.
New rules which are being introuced by Xavi include; arriving early for training, curfews, fines and monitoring of off pitch activities. Xavi will take the reigns for the first time against Espanyol on the 20th of November.
