The Nike Mercurial Superfly Air Max 95
Fri, Apr 11.25

To celebrate 30 years of the Air Max 95 ‘Neon’, Nike Football hasn’t just brought back some serious energy around the sneaker with global launches — they’ve injected that signature street style onto the pitch with the Mercurial Superfly 10 x Air Max 95 special edition.
Kylian Mbappe & Air Max 95
Kylian Mbappé gave boot heads everywhere a massive teaser, lacing them up in Real Madrid’s first-leg UCL clash against Arsenal. And while the result didn’t go the French superstar’s way, the boots on feet definitely stole our attention. Epic. And with Real Madrid never a team to count out, we’re expecting Mbappé to have something to say in the second leg next week — likely in these again.
The Air Max 95 was lauded for its innovative, disruptive design back in the ‘90s — and to this day, it still hits that sweet spot of nostalgic and futuristic. The visible Air unit was groundbreaking then, and while it’s now a core part of the current Mercurial DNA, this crossover brings it through in a way that feels truly special.
Sneakers x Football Boots
The boots are a true homage to the sneaker, with a layered upper in the official colourway: Black/Neon Yellow/Anthracite/Lt. A look at the tongue reveals the iconic Air Max logo — tweaked to say Air Zoom — linking the sneaker and football worlds together perfectly.
The pops of colour across the upper and that incredible soleplate are guaranteed to get your attention. The latest spine design comes through in neon, with ‘Nike Air’, ‘1995’, and ‘2025’ callouts throwing it back to the past while staying focused on Mercurial’s bold future.
With the 2026 World Cup on the horizon — a moment when Nike traditionally cranks Mercurial innovation up to the max — we’re in for an exciting 12 months with this silo. This is just the beginning of a really exciting period.
