Puma Launch The Crafted From Culture 'Influence Pack' Jerseys
Wed, Mar 24.21

Puma has teamed up with 4 football related magazines and media businesses to create 4 stunning Influence Pack jerseys "Crafted from Culture" - each relating to a key city.
COPA 90, everyone's favourite football media outlet, is the first we'll look at.
The jersey is inspired by the city of New York, with the graphics taking inspiration from famous spots around the city like buildings and football pitches.
The crest pays homage to perhaps the most recognisable landmark in the city, the Statue of Liberty, while the big sponsors style logo and number on the back link to the 5 boroughs of New York City - Manhattan, The Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens and Staten Island.
The neck sign off proudly showcases the Copa 90 logo we're so fond of as massive fans of the Derby Days series on YouTube, hosted by London-based Aussie, Eli Mengem.
“At COPA90 we believe that football is the universal language. We’re here to entertain, inform and celebrate football and its fans. Whether it’s chats and challenges with your favourite footballers, in depth documentaries about fan culture or amazing animations and explainers about the biggest stories in the game, COPA90 is HOW FOOTBALL FEELS.”
Next up is NSS magazine which since 2009 has established itself internationally as a fashion and cool-hunting site with exclusive content - acting as a reference point in Europe for communities and fans of football, street culture, sneakers and fashion.
The jersey ties back to the city of Naples, with the flame design, scribbled words and graphics linking to Mount Vesuvius and Sakuragima. The logo is a doodled volcano which ties back to both.
“The goal of nss magazine is making the streetwear culture more accessible, with contents ranging from journalistic investigations to fashion guides focusing on the season's trends. nss magazine brings together two spin-off projects: nss sports dedicated to the football and sportswear culture, and nss G Club, which explores the beauty world.”
Just wow. This stunner from SEASON zine ties back to the city of London, with the pattern of public transport seats and the tube map of the city being the main design inspirations.
The reflective SEASON sponsor logo elevates this jersey to another level of class, finished off with FASHION FOOTBALL est.2016 on the neck.
“SEASON is a trailblazing football and fashion platform that launched in London in 2016 to counter the male, pale and sometimes stale state of modern football culture.
A cross between a football fanzine and fashion magazine spanning biannual print issues and original stickers, events, social media and now a podcast, the evolving interplay between football, fashion and personal style is also explored."
The final of the 4 comes from SHUKYU - the Japan based magazine. Naturally this one ties back to the city of Tokyo, with the design based around traditional Japanese patterns linked to Kemari, an athletic game that was popular in Japan during the Heian period.
The sponsors logo sits wonderfully in white on the green backing, with the shirt number 11 integrated into Shukyu's latest magazine cover.
“SHUKYU is the football culture magazine based in Tokyo.
Each issue will feature a special theme, focusing on themes, players, clubs, supporters, fashion, art, architecture, food, and other things that exist behind the game.”
