Designed for those players who revolve their game around speed, and ahead of the ‘FIFA Women ́s World's World Cup 2023TM’ on our shores, adidas have released the X Crazyfast. The boot will launch in three distinct models, the ‘P1’ laced, ‘P1’ laceless and the ‘P+’ in a white, black and lucid lemon colourway. While both of the P1 models feature lightweight advanced technologies, along with ‘AERO’ innovations in order to unlock speed, the pinnacle P+ model is the highlight of the pack.
The laced P+ is the lightest version of the X that we’ve seen from adidas, designed for optimal speed and representing the ultimate level of innovation for those at the peak of their game. The X Crazyfast was developed using insight and testing input from an equal gender split of contributors and both from professional athletes to grassroots players - to ensure that this is a boot for everyone. There is no doubt you can physically feel the significant weight drop in this pinnacle model and the floating tongue construction as well as the ‘superlight’ laces both contribute to keeping the weight down, while also keeping the foot feeling locked.
This feels like a significant play from adidas, and a necessary deviation from the original silo. A nice additional touch is that all X Crazyfast models contain zero virgin polyester, and the P+ is made with a 15% lower carbon footprint than the previous X Speedportal P+ version.
You can shop the new X Crazyfast range at Ultra Football.
