Adidas Drops a Lancaster rose inspired Manchester United Home Kit For The 23/24 Season

Gearing up for the upcoming season, Manchester United have revealed their 23/24 home jersey by adidas.
The jersey was first seen over the weekend being donned by Manchester born grime artist Aitch during his Glasto set and has now officially been launched by the club.
As far as home jerseys go, this one is a beauty. From afar, it takes the shape of a traditional red, white, and black United home jersey, but it’s the more intricate details which separate this one from past renditions. Up close, you can see that the deep red consists of a pattern inspired by both the red rose of Lancaster and the industrial heritage of the city. This pattern, bordered by a black collar and famous three stripes, combine for an instant classic.
The red rose of Lancaster also sits inside the back collar of the shirt and is a significant symbol in the history of United and of the Lancashire region. The red rose of Lancaster represents Manchester United and has traditionally been seen as a rival to the white rose of York and Leeds United.
These subtle yet important details are particularly prominent on the heat ready version of the shirt, and this jersey is undoubtedly another strong proponent of this match day technology. The jersey will also come in the ‘aeroready’ version, at the cheaper price point and both can be found right here at Ultra Football.
