The Iconic Nike Brazil 98 Home Jersey is Finally Here
Wed, Jun 19.24

1997/98. The birth of Brazil and Nike. Ronaldo in full flight. France 98. Football may just have peaked in 1998, and Brazil was at the forefront of it. All while wearing one of the greatest football jerseys we've ever seen. The only thing missing for the Seleção that year was world cup glory, and unfortunately we know how that ended...but now, 26 years later, and as Brazil begin their search for their tenth Copa America, Nike are set to re-release the iconic 1998 Home Jersey.
We've seen Nike dropping hints about this beauty for a little while now, and finally it has arrived in all of its vintage glory.
A few months back, jersey heads had their collective tongues wagging when we saw Vini Jr launch the Nike Air Zoom Mercurial TN while donning this one.
We also noticed Clint Ogbenna, the brains behind London streetwear label Corteiz, rocking a signed edition with the great man himself Ronaldo, while on a trip to Brazil. Before most recently, Fulham midfielder Andreas Pereira took to Instagram to show us the full look.

This iconic jersey will come in two seperate versions. One with the 'Ronaldo 9' printing, and one without. Sometimes we see reissues not quite hit the mark in regards to their originals, but this is not the case here. A nice vintage boxy and oversized fit, with embroidered logos to boot. We can certainly see this one being a popular number over the summer and festival period in Europe, and then again when the sun comes out back here in Aus.
This classic is definitely not going to hang around, so move quick and get yours now here.
