The Adidas "Energy Mode" pack has landed!
Wed, May 30.18
Adidas have launched their "Energy Mode" pack for the 2018 FIFA World Cup next month in Russia.
Shortly after The Three Stripes released the all new X18+, Adidas have also released the new Predator, Nemeziz and Copa models two weeks ahead of the World Cup kick-off. The “Energy Mode” is bold, its audacious and everything that is needed to stand out in the worlds biggest tournament.
Predator 18+
The inspiration for this pack comes from 1998, where Adidas launched the Predator Accelerator in a vibrant ‘Electricity’ colour way. The new Predator 18+ will be laced once more in this ‘Volt Green’, with black branding, sock collar and chrome red soleplate. See the Predator 18+ in action next month on superstars; Dele Alli, Mesut Ozil and Paul Pogba.
Adidas X18+
In similar fashion, the Adidas X18+ comes from an all new design but with visible F50 adizero DNA and sports that iconic vibrant blue/yellow combination. The striking new Skeletal Weave is compiled of an ultra-thin woven grid, paired with a new low-cut claw collar construction makes for a stellar lock down feel.
Nemeziz 18+
The next generation of Nemeziz joins the World Cup pack family, continuing the lace less trend with the new 18+. The Nemeziz 18+ 360 Agility arrives dressed in an electric orange colour way. The latest iteration subtly upgrades the previous generation as adidas stuck close to their true identity. As the Agility Bandage and Torsion Tapes tech continue to provide superior lockdown, the new dual-lock collar has been added, with the medial collar higher than the lateral. The Nemeziz 18+ will also be available in a laced 18.1 edition. Expect to see the likes of Roberto Firmino and Julian Draxler in these in a few weeks’ time.
Nemeziz 18+ 'Messi'
Lionel Messi will be the only one this summer with his own signature colour way for the tournament. His Nemeziz is the 18.1 with the traditional lacing system, a ‘bright green’ colour way accompanied by black branding and chrome green soleplate, with “MESSI” logo on the inside of the boot. Also worth noting that Messi has interestingly chosen the 18.1 version, with the 17.1 collar design.
Copa 18.1
Last but not least, even though this silo wont feature at the World Cup with no athletes picking it as their weapon of choice. The Copa 18 has its own colour way in the “Energy Mode” pack. Put together with the buttery Kangaroo Leather upper in bright red, and ‘volt green’ detailing, it will be available for all of the lovers of the traditional adidas boot silos.
The entire “Energy Mode” pack by Adidas is available now at Ultra Football!
