PARK Team Up With FIFA 22 To Stop Carbon And Save The Planet
Mon, Mar 21.22

Ever wondered what it would be like to play against a team of goalkeepers on FIFA22? Now you can take the challenge and help stop 100 tonnes of carbon along the way.
Our friends at PARK are activating during FIFA once again and is the most engaging one yet. In a world first, challenge a squad made up of entirely goalkeepers to help save our planet. One million games of FIFA22 is going to stop 100 tonnes of carbon. Who are the best stoppers in our game? Keepers.
From the 21st to the 28th of March, PARK will be the Featured Squad Battle in FIFA22. For this battle all of us can take on PARK's save the Planet XI. Who will be the best attacking keeper? Who's going to attempt to boss the midfield? Who will be on pens and free kick duty? The only way to find out is by getting your controllers out and hopping, or should we say stopping, to it.

Every game played against PARK's Save the Planet XI will lock away 100g of carbon. PARK's overall goal here is to lock away 100 tonnes over the seven day period which means one million games of FIFA22 need to be played.
You might be sitting back wondering just how all this works. How does playing FIFA stop carbon while i'm sitting on the couch with my feet up scoring long-range worldies? PARK has teamed up with C2Zero, a purpose driven company with a mission to stop pollution.
C2Zero enable brands to take away the permits big polluters use when they pollute. The company purchases these permits and (figuratively) cuts them up, putting pieces onto good and services.
Blockchain technology is going to be used over the next week to monitor every game played against the PARK squad. Each game will have a permit embedded in it that offsets more than the carbon emitted during an average game of FIFA22.

It's not just about playing FIFA22 though. PARK has once again smashed it from a kit point of view with a planet kit being worn by the stoppers. The stadium you play in will be the PARK planet stadium and the game isn't complete without a PARK ball, of course.
All of these elements are inspired by textures found in the environment. From clouds to leaves to red flowing lava - these not only look amazing but bring the positive messaging to the forefront.
One final cool detail comes on the sleeve with a patch added. This patch symbolises PARK's environmental responsibility. A responsibility we all need to share as we become more conscious of the problems our planet faces.
Wondering who made the team? Check out the starting 11 below. We can all make a difference. Why not start with a game of FIFA22 while stopping some carbon from entering the atmosphere.
