Nike releases Tottenham 24/25 Away Jersey

After concluding the 23/24 Premier League season in 5^th place, knocking on the top 4’s door, Nike has whipped up a fresh, ‘palate cleansing’ Tottenham 24/25 home jersey for their upcoming season. Not only has the jersey removed the fold-over collar, but Nike has also flipped to a lighter shade of blue, reminiscing Tottenham’s previous 84/85 seasons away kit.

Vertical stripes are a departure from recent designs but harken back to classic Tottenham away kits. These stripes are complemented by horizontal streaks of blue, white, and yellow on the sleeve cuffs. We have seen a huge presence of yellow in their previous away kits, which is why its appearance on next season’s jersey, is small, yet effective. 

The jersey features a bold navy crewneck collar, a central placement of the Tottenham crest (in a more retro style), and the Nike swoosh in striking navy blue.

Digital creator and lifelong Spurs fan, Danny Aarons said “This is iconic Spurs Away for me”.  

Nike continues to do what they do best, by providing a light Dri-FIT technology that allows sweat to be moved away from the skin for quicker evaporation, helping players stay dry and comfortable.

Despite the changes in colour and collar style from last year's kit, elements of the previous darker blue are retained in various accents like the collar, sleeve cuffs, sponsor logos, club crest, and Nike swoosh. Along with the traditional yellow additions, Nike has ticked all boxes in incorporating the true historic colours of the North London club.

The promotion of both the home and away kits emphasises a modern approach for the home kit and a vintage feel for the away kit, appealing to different aspects of the club's identity.
