Nike Launch The New Australian Men’s National Football Team Jerseys

We don't need to explain how big the Socceroos Home and Away jersey launch is. You know already. Same with the Matildas.
Interest in the new Nike 2022 Australian National Team Home and Away jerseys has been off the charts this year. We've been getting heaps of messages and DMs which is so positive. We all want to support our NT's with colour and pride. These new jerseys from Nike are even more special than ever. Why? Because they celebrate 100 years of the Socceroos.
The new Home Jersey design looks to honour the past while looking to the future of football. This is period which will likely never happen again. The Men's World Cup is going to be played in our summer. Then we follow up with the Women's World Cup in our own backyard mid next year. It doesn't get any bigger or better.
The cool design is inspired by the fighting spirit of the Socceroos and rugged Australian landscape. It also ties in the Golden Wattle flower and, of course, the famous green and gold.
The Away Jersey comes through in bold obsidian and takes inspiration from the vivid sea. The green glow details represent the creatures, plants, and reeds found in the waters. All coming together to signal the deep connection between Australians and coastal life.
Nike always dials it up to max when it comes to technology at the World Cup. Their boots are always leading the way and once again their jerseys are no different. The new kit is engineered with Dri-Fit ADV, Nike’s pinnacle apparel material platform.
Heat mapping technology is utilised which allows the athlete to stay cool on the pitch and the new seamless fit allows for increased mobility.
Perhaps the best point we need to discuss though is the fact that the jerseys are made with 100% recycled polyester. This polyester is constructed from recycled bottles which is something to be celebrated. We've got to keep the beautiful elements of our environment which make up the design of both jerseys safe for future generations.
