First Look at The Nike TN Inspired Mercurial
Wed, Jan 03.24

To kick things off in 2024, Nike have unveiled the Nike TN inspired Zoom Mercurial via a social campaign with PSG’s Kylian Mbappe. The French superstar is seen opening a special display box to reveal the "Voltage Purple & Total Orange" colourway of the new Mercs and has since taken to the training pitch in them.
This boot perfectly amalgamates the classic designs of both the Superfly and the TN and retains the heritage of both nicely. This is something which can often be missed when we see two silos combined, and is a delicate process, particularly when both silhouettes have fervent supporters such as in this case.
The boot will also be released with an actual TN, in the throwback colour combo. Both the trainer and the boot itself, carry the ‘Voltage Purple’ colourway, which was one of the OG TN colourways created by Sean Mcdowell in 1998. This model hasn’t appeared since 2018, so will bring a lot of hype and excitement with it.
As you can see below, the boot takes the soleplate and usual upper of the Mercurial Superfly and combines it with the traditional TN pattern. The TN logo and branding on the back of the boot has been changed to ZM for ‘Zoom Mercurial’, and the TN Air logo appears on the sock upper as a classy finishing touch.
Whether you’re a nostalgic sneakerhead from the late 90s or a modern-day TN and Superfly fan, these are for you and they’re not going to hang around long. Keep your eyes peeled on our socials over the coming weeks to find out more about these. They have a global release date of the 15th January.
