Adidas Release The Predator Edge 94+

adidas are taking it back to 1994 with the new Predator Edge 94+ inspired by the boot that started it all.
Black boots are a vibe. Black boots which tie back to a historical pair with massive significance are an even bigger one. The original Predator 94 changed the game. It allowed players to get more swerve and power out of their strikes. xTheir emphasis on this innovation really made the athlete feel like they had an unfair advantage.
Screw-on studs where big. Adding texture and now iconic rubber elements to the front foot and a padded tongue took things to another level though. These boots were the shit. Just think about rolling up to training with a pair of these crocodile looking boots and whipping balls into the top corner. They were a massive talking point.
You know what's cool about the Predator 94 as well? The iconic Predator-fins were developed by Australian legend, Craig Johnston. Johnston had the idea to add these to a pair of boots to add grip. If you have a look online for some of his original designs such as "The Pig" - you'll see where his head was at. Adidas utilised this brilliant idea and it changed the course of their history and the way boots were made forever.
The Predator exploded to life at the 1994 World Cup in the United States. Since then it has been adopted and love by some of the games greatest ever players for years to come.
The Predator Edge 94+ does a great job in staying true to heritage while also keeping things modern. The classy black design with red accents on the sole plate and identical Three Stripes really hits the mark for fans of the original.
Tech wise the boots stay true to the current-gen Predator Edge design. The only noticible change is the redesigned 3D upper structure and, of course, the fact that leather is used on the upper. The laceless construction returns with the two-piece PRIMEKNIT collar keeping things extremely well fitting.
