Adidas Re-Launch the Predator Absolute ‘Gold Edition’

If there was ever one man fit to wear all gold boots it was Zinedine Zidane. Adidas recognised this in 2006 & for his send-off tour in Germany provided him with this Golden Predator Absolute.
So adidas reintroduce the iconic gold Predator Absolutes last seen at the 2006 FIFA World Cup in a limited edition.
The boot includes a fold-over tongue and curved SL rubber elements on what is an exact recreation of the OG upper, while underneath, the outsole is the same as the one used for the modern adidas Predator Edge, bringing a modern fit and performance.
The main difference between the pair released in 2006 though is that you can now get your hands on them, with the first release only going to the man himself.
While Zidane didn’t get his golden send off after being sent off in the final, it was arguably the perfect end to one of the greatest careers in football.
