Adidas get 2023 off to a flyer with an early boot-of-the-year contender.
The adidas Predator Precision Archive. With the success of the Accelarator release in 1998 the pressure was on adidas for the next installment & they delivered.
The Precision revamped the three stripes branding & was the first Predator boot to make the transition from rubber fins to thinner, more frequent ribs which increased the spin that could be put on the ball.
It also introduced Velcro on the fold-over tongue and replaceable Traxion studs, both firsts for the Predator silo.
The Precision screams David Beckham and THAT free-kick against Greece, so adidas rightfully give this remake a Beckham inspired colourway, the same that featured on his signature Predator LZ in 2012.
As always with adidas remakes, the Precision Archive sees modern retooling included to ensure that it can stand up to the rigours of the modern game.
