adidas Football and Juventus present the bold new 19/20 home jersey
Wed, May 22.19

The newest chapter in the Juventus story is here.
If you thought changing their logo back in 2017 was a bold step, try blurring the lines of history and removing the iconic black and white stripe design for the first time in 116 years… now that’s bold.
Juventus have their sights set on global domination. The signing of Mr. Champions League, Cristiano Ronaldo, last season showed their hand. They not only want to conquer Europe by winning the trophy that has alluded them since ‘96, they want to be at the forefront of people’s minds everywhere with on pitch and commercial success.
The American market is lucrative. If this modern take from adidas helps Juve reach their goals in the fastest growing football market then it’s hard to argue, especially if they lift the Champions League trophy in May 2020, and revert back to a more classic design in the future with a bigger worldwide audience.
The 2019/20 jersey still respects tradition with the iconic black and white colours as the forefront, but adidas has incorporated a touch of pink this year, splitting up the half-and-half striped design with the colour Juventus first played in when they rebuilt themselves as Juventus Football Club in 1899.
The reason they played in pink? To stand out from other football clubs. Perhaps this new design will help Juventus stand out across the globe.
