The New Balance Tim Weah ‘Queens’ Finest’ Signature Tekela 4 Has Landed

New Balance has been delivering some top notch signature edition boots for their roster of star athletes for a for years now. Next up is none other than USMNT and Juventus star man, Tim Weah, who now gets to step into the limelight for club and country with his very own signature style. New Balance has gifted him a pair of personalised Tekela 4 boots, christened 'Queens' Finest'.
Hailing from the streets of Queens, NYC, Timothy Weah is one of the coolest players on New Balances's roster who inked his deal back in October 2021. Now, after nearly two years of collaboration, he's set to make his mark with the 'Queens' Finest' Tekela 4 boots. This unveiling marks the latest addition to New Balance's roster of signature styles for its talented young athletes, following bespoke boot creations for stars like Bukayo Saka, Harvey Elliott, and the most recent addition you can still purchase, Eberechi Eze. There's a couple more on the way, too.
Weah's boots pay homage to his roots, particularly his formative years in New York. The official colourway, "White/Red/Blue", showcases white as the primary hue. Blue takes center stage in the rear quarter of the boot, forming a starry graphic that wraps around the heel, crowned with the torch of the Statue of Liberty, an iconic symbol of New York. It doesn't take a genius to know that these are heavily USA branded, and damn they look good.
One of our favourite features is on the soleplate which features a display of a map of New York City, with Queens highlighted in vivid red. The chrome effect on the underside extends back to the heel, completes another stunning signature design from the Boston-based brand.
