Now that we've had a chance to have a look at them on pitch, we go through and pick out our top 10 Home & Away kit combinations from the World Cup.
10 England
Both England kits for Qatar take inspiration from the 90s & while the home kit doesn’t quite hit, the Away more than makes up for it.
The home is a fairly traditional white & uses the same shades of blue from kits seen in the early 90s. The away kit is a proper Italia 90 throwback though with the pop up collar.
9 Brazil
The most successful nation in World Cup history makes our top 10 with its Jaguar-inspired offerings. The pattern can most noticeably be made out on the away kits sleeves but shows up on the home kit too with a yellow on yellow print.
8 Belgium
The Belgium kits from adidas are fire... Literally. The home kit comes with a flame graphic up the sleeve, living up to the red devils name. The away kit s predominantly white with vibrant multicoloured trim on the collar, sleeves, hem and underarms & is inspired by tomorrowland.
7 Spain
The spanish home kit is a traditional yet modern take on the classic red kit, accented by orange and blue trims.
The away kit for the Spanish, arrives in light blue with a central crest & Three Stripes logo. The traditional spanish colours then come out to play on the sleeves with the adi three stripes.
6 Australia
The Aussies had to make the list, the kit shirt is predominantly golden with green trims, and comes in a tonal gold pattern.
The colorway of the Australia 2022 away jersey draws from the vivid sea around the continent, with splashes of 'green glow' inspired by the plants found in the water.
5 Argentina
Argentina have switched out their controversial camouflage striped kit for a very traditional home kit with three light blue stripes on a white base.
The away kit is where adidas have some fun, going with a purple base & purple flames rising up the kit, are these the kits that Messi completes football in?
4 France
This Mbappe led France team is progressing like a well oiled machine, and looking good while doing it. Like most nations, Nike have given Les Blues \a fairly traditional home kit - a Navy Base with gold accents, worthy of the reigning champions.
The Away kit is an ode to France Nouveau (New France) & includes sillouhets of the French Cockerel, the Arc de Triomphe and the Clairefontaine football centre.
3 Nigeria
Like Mexico & adidas, Nike & Nigeria never, ever miss and yes we know Nigeria aren’t going to Qatar but how could we not include them with kits like these? The home kit for the Super Eagles contains 4 different shades of green.
2 Germany
The Germans could well add another World Cup trophy to their cabinet in Qatar, & they’ve certainly gone close to the best kit combination too. The home kit could be the best Germany kit of all time, an instant classic.
The away isn’t bad either, black with a glitched ‘D’ graphic for Deutschland printed all over the kit, inspired by the way the team plays.
1 Japan
Japan & adidas have a 23 year relationship and it show, taking out our number 1 spot. The home is traditional colours of the Japanese home team, topped off with a origami inspired design.
The away kit is the pick of the lot, With a retro feel, the Japan away arrives in white with black accents bordering the whole design with the return of the Origami print to the sleeves. Perfection.
