The adidas Women's World Cup Trophy Tour At Ultra Football

On Wednesday night, Ultra Football had the pleasure of hosting the official Women’s World Cup trophy accompanied by a number of the best ballers battling it out on the pitch in a 4v4 tournament. A fantastic night celebrating the upcoming World Cup, here’s what went down.With two groups set out, each team were kitted out in some of the nicest national team kits we’ve seen! Japan were the early favourites rocking the beautiful pink and purple away jersey, with Fernando De Moraes putting on a lesson showing everyone that Japan are the team to watch out for.

With plenty of unreal goals on display and a load of skills, the energy at Ultra Football was immaculate. Spain and Jamaica were looking clean on the pitch with Adidas showing their ability to produce a gorgeous ‘night brown’ in what was definitely a fan favourite with the unique dark purple graphics recreating coral and the underwater plant life, standing out amongst the crowd.A hotly contested battle amongst all eights teams saw Germany and Japan meet each other in the grand final with plenty of talent on display.

Led by Jess Russo and Fernando De Moraes, this one was definitely one to watch. Japan prevailed with some of the most entertaining football of the night as they walked away with a comfortable victory to be crowned champions of the night.Throughout the night, those in attendance were fortunate enough to get a photo with the prestigious trophy, the same one that will hopefully be raised by our Matildas in a few months time!In what was a fantastic night with a mix of music, football and World Cup celebrations, it certainly raised the excitement levels of the upcoming Women’s World Cup which is only 34 days away!
