It seems crazy the world we live in at the moment with the full-scale invasion of Russia in Ukraine still ongoing. When will peace win?
What's also crazy is the fact that the Ukrainian league is happening this season. Football might be the last thing on a lot of people's minds over that side of the world, but let's hope fans get 90 minutes of much needed enjoyment and positivity each weekend.
To make the league work games will be played in western Ukraine and in Poland. One team who is starting their campaign tonight is Shakhtar Donetsk.
