Puma launch the 20/21 Olympique de Marseille home jersey ‘Le cOMbat Continue’

The 2019/20 Ligue 1 season was a welcome improvement under manager André Villas-Boas, seeing OM finish second to PSG but massively closing the points gap between the two compared to recent seasons.

For the upcoming campaign PUMA have released the 20/21 Olympique de Marseille home jersey under the fitting branding ‘Le cOMbat Continue’ (the fight continues) as Marseille looks to go one better and beat their Parisian rivals to Ligue 1 glory for the first time since the 2009/10 season.
This season PUMA have elevated their range once again after last season's stunning 120th year anniversary jersey which really caught our attention. The 20/21 jersey is inspired by aspects of the famous French city and also the club's legacy.
The design takes cues from 20th century architecture around Marseille, with the distinct line pattern through the jersey being a nod to famous buildings and structures seen across the city.
White is the primary colour of the jersey, of course, but this year sees a significant difference to last year's version coming via the ‘Azur Blue’ details and classic round collar and sleeve cuffs which look clean and sophisticated.
The collar also features the embroidered wording ‘Marseille’, with the club logo displayed over the heart completing an amazing home jersey – even if the Uber Eats front of shirt sponsor stings the eye on first glance. We’ve certainly gotten used to it!
Will the upcoming campaign be a success for Marseille given they will have to juggle Champions League fixtures as well? Can they push PSG and take out top spot? What do you think of the new home kit? Let us know in the comments below!
You can buy the 20/21 Olympique de Marseille home jersey in store at Ultra HQ or online here.
