Nike Unveil The Phantom x Skepta

Damnnn. Nike have officially shut it down with the new Phantom x Skepta annoucment - hitting the shelves in store at Ultra HQ and online in extremely limited numbers from June 12. When we say extremely limited we mean it too - this is one of those releases where you need to be online early, refreshing the page like mad, add to cart ASAP and pay up within seconds to stand a chance.
Mason Greenwood sent boot conniseurrs and grime fans alike into a spin when he repped the boots on pitch against Leicester. United didn't get the result, but man did Greenwood score some points.
London-based Skepta applied his creative vision to these Phantom GT's with the colourway of choice being 'Bloody Chrome' - do they look tough or what?
This is the first time Skepta and Nike have collaborated to produce a football boot, with this new Phantom sitting proudly alongside its Air Max counterpart.
The chrome Swooshes and soleplate are inspired by the silver jewellery which Skepta frequently wears as part of his iconic look. The bold Butterly print seen inside the box on the packaging references the concept of creative metamorphosis. The iridescent material on each heel nods to the thermographic cover art of Skepta's 2019 album "Ignorance Is Bliss".
