Nike Launch The 21/22 Liverpool Home Jersey

One of the most hotly anticipated jerseys every year is Liverpool's - and the Liverpool 21/22 home jersey has heat at the core of its design.
The design pays homage to when Billy Shankly decided that Liverpool needed to wear a full red playing kit back in 1964 - a change he believed would give the team a psychological edge over its opponents. He was right.
The first time the club wore the full red kit there was said to be a mythological sense of power and danger in the air. You can imagine just how raucous that atmosphere must have been at Anfield. Something we're missing oh so much in modern day football due to the pandemic.

The 21/22 home jersey is complemented with a glow of bright crimson, paired alongside bolted pinstripes to bring that fire to life once more. The jersey is rounded out with green on the neck tape and a fossil-palette Swoosh and crest.

The new design has been constructed with 100 percent recycled polyester fabric, which is made from recycled plastic bottles. The way the brands are committing to this this season has been fantastic and long may it continue.
A jersey this hot deserves to be seen on the biggest stage of all - so we'll be keeping a keen eye on the final day of Premier League action to see if Alisson's heroics last week will go down as one of the most important moments in their history.
