The story behind this boot is inspiring, paying homage to Sadio’s 405-kilometre travel north from his hometown of Bambaly, to the capital of Senegal Dakar, to attend trials as a youngster - this release is strictly limited to just 405 pairs to reflect this journey.  

Sadio was selected to join the Senegalese Football Academy (Academie Generation Foot) after this journey, which is where the rise began. The recent Champions League winner has achieved so much already at the prime age of 27, starring for Liverpool FC & Senegal “the Lions of Teranga”.

This stunning boot got its colour inspiration from the Simb of Senegal, an artistic ritual portraying the transformation of man into a lion. The heel of the boots show the individual number of the boot release up to 405 pairs, with the lace anglets dated with Sadio’s first goal and cap for the National Team.
