Nathaniel Atkinson On the Move to Hearts
Wed, Dec 22.21

One of the most talented young Australians looks set to be on the move, with hearts reportedly in for the 22-year-old full-back.
It was only a matter of time before Atkinson got his European move, being a stand-out for Melbourne City last season in their title campaign and continuing his good form early this season with a very impressive display in the Melbourne Derby at the weekend.
The right side of defense has been a bit of a problem area for the Jambos this season with 33-year-old Michael Smith struggling for fitness and Taylor Moore filling in at wing-back, if he hits the ground running, Atkinson should find himself starting more often than not.
The move should also help Atkinson cement a spot in the Socceroos line-up ahead of the World Cup, with only Graham Arnold knowing why he hasn't been called up already.
The young Aussie is expected to link up with his new side in early January as he waits on a UK work permit, and could be there in time to face fellow Aussie Martin Boyle in the Edinburgh derby against Hibs.
