Mizuno Launch The Lazio Special 50th Anniversary Jersey

As the top 2023/24 football league seasons come to an exciting end, Mizuno and Lazio have delivered one last kit surprise. On May 12, 2024, it will be 50 years since Lazio secured their first historic Scudetto. A team of lesser-known players did the unthinkable by beating Juventus to the title by two points, led by Tommaso Maestrelli, “The Maestro.”
To commemorate the team and achievement, Mizuno has worked with the club to create a Special 50th Anniversary jersey, which the team will wear with pride against Empoli at the Stadio Olimpico - which will no doubt be absolutely buzzing on the day.
What makes this jersey so special, though, you may ask? Well, for starters, the special edition box is stunning, showcasing imagery of players and moments from their epic title win, living long in the memory of Biancocelesti fans.
Our favourite design feature is the names of the entire squad and coach embossed on the jersey as subtle vertical stripes. The upper back also showcases an Italian flag, recalling the Scudetto success.
