Future Friday is here with Nike Football dropping the Phantom VSN 2 Future DNA Hypervenom

Nike has unveiled their latest on-pitch innovation with the Nike Phantom VSN 2 ‘Future DNA Hypervenom’.

This is the debut release from Nike Football’s Future DNA series, in which we will see Nike’s current performance boots each paying homage to a classic Nike Football design every Friday. You'll see a Future Friday drop in conjunction with LOCAL FC on our Instagram every week in March, and there are some massive ones to come! 

Channelling the fiery spirit of its predecessor, the Hypervenom released back in 2013, the Nike Phantom VSN 2 ‘Future DNA Hypervenom comes in an iconic orange and black colourway with a skull and crossbones graphic, signalling an attacking attitude to defenders on pitch.

The boot’s modern updates are seen with the textural outer-design for control – on the instep for trapping, and along the outside of the foot for creative dribbling and flicking passes. The boot also features a flexible mesh layer inside the cleat that adjusts perfectly to the foot to keep it snug, and a hidden lacing system which tightens easily and evenly with one pull, then stays tucked away.

Only two players globally will get to rock these, Kai Havertz at Bayer Leverkusen and Georgia Stanway at Manchester City.
