adidas Soccer Launches New Spectral Mode X18+

PORTLAND, ORE., September 18 – adidas Soccer has today launched the all-new Spectral Mode X18+. Released as part of the Spectral Mode pack - alongside Predator, NEMEZIZ and COPA silos – the boot re-imagines the X18+ with a new Off-White colorway.

As well as the sleek new Off-White upper, the Spectral Mode X18+ features a Core Black soul plate. The lining of the boot features a metallic gold sock-liner print.  They will be worn by leading adidas athletes worldwide like Gabriel Jesus, Mo Salah and Gareth Bale.

The X18+ is designed to provide stability and support at high speed. A laceless upper locks-down the mid-foot, crucial when accelerating and during high speed moments. It also ensures minimal interference between the foot and ball. A low-cut CLAW COLLAR construction features a new stretch material that secures the foot in place and provides increased stability and support.

A SPEEDFRAME outsole features lightweight, Drillium engineered tooling and minimalistic construction to offer extreme traction during rapid acceleration. A 3D MOLDED HEEL provides a snug and stable fit, designed to lock the foot in place during acceleration.

Innovative materials ensure complete control even at high-speed. The SKELETAL WEAVE is compiled of an ultra-thin woven grid of optically charged speed yarns to allow for responsive touch and lightweight feel. The ultra-soft SPEEDMESH offers a controlled touch without restricting the movement of the foot.

The Spectral Mode X18+ is also available as a cage and street shoe. The cage version features the same colouring and CLAW COLLAR construction and laceless upper as the on-pitch boot; along with a full length BOOST™ midsole and traction studs. The lifestyle sneaker comes in the same Off-White colorway, taking the innovative design from stadium to street.
