adidas launches the 'Superlative' pack featuring the new Predator Freak

The adidas 'Superlative' pack, which includes the new Predator Freak, has arrived at Ultra Football.

The adidas Predator range has been going from strength to strength in recent years, with the new Predator Freak+ continuing the evolution of the legendary silo in innovative ways. For the latest Predator, adidas has taken on board feedback and recommendations by the brands athletes to produce one of the best modern Predators yet.

The Predator Freak intends to transform athletes play with unrivalled control on the ball. The DEMONSKIN spike coverage has been updated on the Freak+ with 360° coverage technology being extended around the boot, positioning the spikes strategically with the aim of enabling superior ball control and swerve. 

The DEMONSKIN updates mixed with a new and enhanced fit - which has been engineered to help support athletes to play at their maximum week in, week out - has produced one hell of a well rounded boot. 

"From first wear, I knew adidas had created something special with their DEMONSKIN material. As soon as I touched the ball, I really felt a difference in the way my foot connected. I’m happy my experience with it so far has impacted the new PREDATOR design.” - Paul Pogba.

One of the main changes you'll notice right away upon seeing the new Freak+ is the updated split-cut collar design. This change allows the foot a greater range of movement and improved adaptability to feet of different shapes - meaning this Predator will fit you better if you've found it has been a bit off in the past. 

The two-piece sock construction also enables athletes to get them on and off a lot easier than in the past, which in turn helps create an even surface area for added ball control.

Think the Predator Freak+ looks subtly familiar? That's down to the fact adidas have referenced notable heritage designs from their past, such as the 1998 Predator Accelerator and 2000 Predator Precision.
