Adidas Launch The Ajax 22/23 Third Jersey
Thu, Aug 25.22

Just when you thought this season's Ajax away jersey couldn't be topped, adidas have come through with this 10/10 Ajax 22/23 third jersey. Wow.
There's a twist to this one as well. Adidas has teamed up with Amsterdam-based fashion label Daily Paper to bring this one to life. Established in 2012, Daily Paper continues to be inspired by the African heritage of its founders. The label is known for its contemporary fashion garments and accessories. It's now also known for being part of one of the best jerseys we've seen for some time.
It was always going to be hard to beat last season's Bob Marley inspired Three Little Birds third jersey. You remember that one. Solid black with the yellow, green and red details. Sold out in minutes. Daily Paper has given it a red hot go though, celebrating Amsterdam's street football culture and golden generation for the current drop.
How do you pay homage to a stellar golden generation who learnt their skills on the streets in the best way? Using a gold base, of course. The black and red stripe down the centre keeps things traditional and ties to the home jersey. It works so, so well.
The accents, Three Stripe branding, sponsor logo and club crest all come through in white which looks very neat. A closer look once you get the jersey in hand also reveals nine of Amsterdam's famous street football courts; Balboaplein, Zaandammerplein, A. Nouriplein, Louis De Visserplein, Piramide, Hendrick de Keijserplein, Joubertplein, Mijehof en Obi/Boni Plein. You can just imagine the big names that developed their skills on those courts. They've really nailed the storytelling on this design!
On the back of the jersey you'll find a fresh take on the Amsterdam coat of arms which has been updated with Ajax and Daily Paper branding. It also features 1275 which is the year Amsterdam was founded and the city's nicknames, Mokum and Damsko, in Pan-African colours, paying homage to the African heritage of Daily Paper.
Get the Ajax 22/23 third jersey in stores or online at ultrafootball.com now. Like last season this jersey is sure to sell out. If you're keen to add it to your collection, make sure you jump at the chance before it's too late.
