Remember when Trent Alexander-Arnold turned up at the Etihad in these back in November without warning, scoring a banger to tie the game against City with 10 minutes to go and announce himself as part of the Three Stripes family in style?
The incredible red fold-over tongue, so iconic to the silo, sitting on that white upper with red Three Stripes, completing the Liverpool kit in style - it deserved a big moment, and Trent stepped up to the plate and delivered it. Like so many Predator athletes in the past - like Becks, Zizou, and of course, his local idol, Steven Gerrard. A guy whose list of bangers in Predator is off the scales. And the exciting thing for adidas is Trent's got those types of strikes in his locker, as well as immense passing, crossing, control, and everything that epitomises the boots.
It’s been a match made in heaven ever since that day in November. And with Liverpool in a three-way race for the Premier League title, in Jurgen Klopp's final campaign no less, Trent, whose return from injury is imminent, will play a commanding role in trying to bring the title back home.
