adidas drop the second Limited Collection Messi Nemeziz 19.1

When you take home your record breaking sixth Ballon d'Or trophy you'd expect a pair of special edition bangers to be delivered by adidas Football. 

What we have here is the Limited Collection Messi Nemeziz 19.1 - the second he has received after the 15 Years edition in October. 

The boots throw back to the 2010 World Cup adidas F50 adiZero 'Chameleon' colourway which is sure to bring back a bit of nostalgia for fans. 

Tech-wise don't expect anything new here. You still get the 360 Agility Tension Tape upper construction and split outsole, as adidas choose to stick with what's working for the time being. 

We got a sneak peak of the new boots in FC Barcelona's 1-0 win over Atletico Madrid on the weekend, with Leo scoring late to seal victory - of course. 

adidas chose to drop the new boot the day after the Ballon d'Or success and we would have loved to see a call out on the boots reflecting the incredible achievement - perhaps that will come in the future.
