adidas and Manchester United launch Ultraboost inspired by the Lancashire Rose, and United’s first FA Cup win

Herzogenaurach, 18^th July – adidas Football has today revealed an exclusive Ultraboost shoe in partnership with Manchester United.

The shoe is inspired by the red Lancashire rose, with detailing on the tongue and in-sole, as well as wording on the cage.

It celebrates 110 years since the club’s first FA Cup win and takes design inspiration from the red rose on the shirt worn by United during the Final. The team beat Bristol City to lift the trophy back in 1909, with a first-half goal from Sandy Turnbull clinching victory.

It represents the start of a number of rose-inspired pieces that will be launched by adidas and Manchester United over the coming weeks as part of their new lifestyle range.

The shoe, a limited edition, will only be available locally in Australia at Ultra Football - the home of limited release product in Australia.
